GREG HOSHEK VOLUNTEER GUARDIAN AWARD
This award was developed to honor dedicated volunteers like Mr. Hoshek. Mr. Hoshek became a volunteer guardian a year after Guardianship Services was established. For twelve years as a volunteer, he upheld the dignity of each ward and served his wards in a spirit of empathy and selflessness. His sudden death in February 2002 ended his career as a volunteer, but his memory and contribution lives on.
