Ohio Lead Awareness Week is July 20-26. The Greater Cleveland Lead Advisory Council will be providing free lead testing for kids ages 1 to 6 at different locations throughout the week. Permanent effects of lead poisoning include, but are not limited to: learning disabilities, slow growth rate, behavioral problems and nerve disorders. The week will conclude with a Community Health & Housing Resource Fair on Saturday, July 26 from 10 am - 2 pm at Cuyahoga County Community College. |

Live Webcast of National Forum on Disability Issues. There will be a live webcast of the National Presidential Candidates Disability Forum with presumptive candidates, Senators McCain and Obama, on Saturday, July 26 from 12-4 pm at Vocational Guidance Services,
2239 E. 55th St.,
Cleveland. This nonpartisan forum will be moderated by Judy Woodruff, News Anchor & Journalist. The candidates will be presenting their visions of the future of policies that affect more than 50 million Americans. In addition, there will be a resource fair and refreshments will be provided to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
