2020 Lakeside Shelter Expansion

“The best public/private partnership in the land.” – County Executive Chris Ronayne on nonprofit partners like LMM working with Cuyahoga County to end homelessness.

LMM is proud to share that the Men’s Shelter expansion to the newly renovated building at 2020 Lakeside Ave. is complete! LMM, Cuyahoga County, elected officials, and community partners came together at 2020 Lakeside on March 5, 2024 to celebrate the new shelter location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event featured speakers County Executive Chris Ronayne, Councilwoman Yvonne Conwell, LMM President & CEO Maria Foschia, LMM VP of Housing & Shelter Michael Sering and more.

The enhanced facility is attached to the Men’s Shelter at 2100 Lakeside and provides healthy and dignified spaces for men who are experiencing homelessness, as well as additional space for LMM’s growing team of Housing & Shelter staff partners. The shelter expansion allows LMM to build on its commitment to providing inclusive, dignified and enhanced spaces and services for individuals who are oppressed, forgotten and hurting. LMM looks forward to sharing more with you as our doors open to the public within the coming weeks.

In the meantime, you can watch the recording of the 2020 Lakeside ribbon-cutting ceremony to hear more details about the space itself, as well as additional information on LMM’s partnership with Cuyahoga County to make this effort happen.
