Reentry Week 2018

It was the inaugural Reentry Awareness Week in Cuyahoga County! Organized by the County’s Office of Reentry to recognize agencies working with the county to facilitate successful reentry via programming, and to make the community aware of the importance of having resources and policy change in order to help men and women returning from incarceration. The inaugural week-long celebration had multiple activities and events around town, including a reentry tour which kicked off at LMM.
Media surrounding Reentry Week included interviews about Chopping for Change and our most recent reentry venture, Comeback Cafe at the county’s Virgil E. Brown building. Multiple stories were completed from various media outlets on the topic of LMM’s role in reentry. Click the links below to read the featured stories.
