On Tuesday, March 19, residents will have the opportunity to vote on Issue 26. If passed, Issue 26 would renew an eight-year Cuyahoga County Health and Human Services (HHS) levy. This $4.8 mill tax levy up for renewal generates $137 million per year in critical services in northeast Ohio. The levy will continue to cost property owners the same rate of about $9.50 per month on $100,000 of auditor-appraised value.
The essential safety net services that LMM provides to youth, adults, seniors and families are funded through Health & Human Services levy dollars. LMM program participants are just a small percentage of hundreds of thousands of individuals who benefit from Cuyahoga County HHS funding each year.
LMM joins leaders and community partners, including Cuyahoga County Council, Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, Mayor Justin M. Bibb, and more, in supporting these vital services in Cuyahoga County.
The polls are currently open to vote early, as well as on Election Day, Tuesday, March 19 from 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM. Join LMM in voting YES on Issue 26.
