Honoring Charlynn Carter

Today we remember Charlynn Carter, a dedicated servant, selfless individual and long-time LMM’er. Please read the reflection below written by Charles R. See, former VP of Community Re-Entry with LMM.

Charlynn Carter, beloved, long-time Community Re-Entry Care Team supervisor, who hosted such notable visitors to LMM care team sites, as United States Attorney General Janet Reno, Ohio Governor Robert Taft, Congresspersons Lewis Stokes and Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Senators, Mayors, and countless other dignitaries, quietly, and as graciously as she had served, made her transition January 12, 2022.

CMHA seniors, from all across the Housing Authority, lauded Charlynn for her selfless devotion to their care and well-being. Charlynn received Community Re-Entry’s Distinguished Medal of Service for her devotion to her ministry with the residents of the Cuyahoga County Metropolitan Housing Authority.

A grateful community stands applauding and thanking Charlynn for her service. As she departs we acknowledge, “You Done Good.” Farewell, kind and gentle lady.
