Youth Drop-In Center Legal Dispute Ongoing

YDIC in the News

The Youth Drop-In Center’s (YDIC) proposed location at 4100 Franklin in Ohio City has not been without challenge. With just a small group of neighbors opposed, and one filing a lawsuit to stop the project at the building chosen by young people with lived experience, we continue through the legal process. We are optimistic we will soon be able to proceed with renovations and the opening of the first YDIC in the area.

United we stand with our partners in the YDIC, which is an initiative of A Place 4 Me, operated by LMM, and in partnership with the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland and the REACH Youth Action Board. These organizations have extensive experience, with proven track records in helping those facing housing instability, specifically young people.
