Cavs and Monsters Award $30,000 Grant to LMM Youth

LMM is proud to announce that our Youth Resiliency Services (YRS) program has been awarded a $30,000 grant from the Cleveland Cavaliers Community Foundation and the Cleveland Monsters Community Foundation as part of their Spring 2025 grant cycle!

LMM is one of 17 nonprofit organizations across Northeast Ohio selected to receive funding as part of a $510,000 investment by the Foundations. This round of grants supports nonprofits that are creating safe spaces for youth and expanding opportunities in areas such as education, wellness, food security, and recreation.

This generous support will help LMM continue its mission to empower youth facing homelessness and housing instability. Our Youth Resiliency Services program takes a holistic, trauma-informed approach, offering behavioral and physical health services, basic needs support, and personalized case management for young people experiencing significant adversity.

“On behalf of our entire team at LMM, we would like to thank the Cavs organization for this most generous grant,” said Lisa Smith, LMM’s VP of Youth Resiliency Services, “With this grant, we’ll not only be able to provide a safe, nurturing environment for our young people, but one that affords them the opportunity to participate in pro-social, age-appropriate activities that contribute to their growth and overall well-being.”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Monsters for their ongoing investment in youth and community development!
