about LMM’s Culinary Training Program, Hospitality Program, and Associate’s Degree Program

Our Wrap-Around Approach

LMM prides itself on offering the highest quality services to our clients. Each of our programs strives to be trauma-informed, and highly individualized case management.

Our strong commitment to holistic programming inspired us to add a Licensed Health and Wellness Counselor to our Student Services Team. Whether a student needs support in navigating the legal system, medical concerns, assistance programs, or community resources, we are ready and waiting.

Giving Back: Central Kitchen’s work to end hunger

Central Kitchen operates 365 days a year to bring nutritious food to those experiencing homelessness.  Founded in 2011 at the LMM Men’s Shelter, we began with the singular mission of providing balanced, wholesome, and dignified meals to the most vulnerable.

Our operation outgrew the shelter location quickly, and in 2012 we moved into our State-of-the-Art space on campus. With dual production and teaching kitchens, CK allows students the unique experience of learning while simultaneously giving back to the community.

Our Adult Education Philosophy

Returning to college as an adult isn’t something that many people plan on doing. LMM knows that it can be difficult to manage a life full of adult responsibilities; that’s why we’ve designed our course load with the busiest of students in mind.

LMM believes that everyone deserves the opportunity that higher education can bring. We are committed to working with each student on finding a path forward, up to and including full financial aid.

Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar

Marble Room is a celebration of Cleveland’s past. In 2017, the opulent old bank at 623 Euclid Avenue was restored and transformed into the one-of-a-kind Marble Room Steak and Raw Bar. It has a rich history that begins over 100 years ago.

Great Lakes Brewing Company

GLBC celebrates the abundance of the Great Lakes region in every beer, dish, and story they share. Founded in 1986 when the Conway brothers opened their fledgling operation in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood, today they have surpassed the 100,000 barrel mark. The Brew Pub is known throughout the region for delicious bites.

Dave’s Markets

Dave’s Supermarkets was founded in the late 1920’s when Alex Saltzman, the first of five generations of grocers, opened the first corner family store at 33rd and Payne Avenue in Cleveland. The store was named for Alex’s son, Dave who succeeded his father in the business. The Saltzman Family is proud to have stores serving 13 local neighborhoods.

LockKeepers

Nestled in the Cuyahoga Valley, LockKeepers opened in 1992 in a tiny historic building by Frank Sinito and Malisse Sinito with one simple objective: “Serve the highest quality food with love, care and hospitality like you would offer in your own home.” Twenty years later, Lockkeepers occupies a stunning arts and crafts style building located between the historic Erie Canal and the Cuyahoga River. Elegantly appointed with mahogany millwork its soaring floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the river. LockKeepers continues to enchant guests with fresh, flavorful Italian cuisine for the most special occasion or casual weekday dining. The owners’ Italian heritage is reflected in the menu that features handmade pastas, fresh baked pizza and desserts, steaks, chops, and seafood.
