Ahead of the November presidential election, thousands of Ohio voters are set to be purged from the state’s voter rolls by July 22.
With over 160,000 inactive Ohio voters potentially being purged from voter rolls for the upcoming November presidential election, there are specific concerns for those without a stable address losing their right to vote, including individuals staying at shelters like the Men’s Shelter on Lakeside Ave.
LMM is following this developing story closely. With monthly voter registration outreach at the Men’s Shelter, along with continued voter education and registration efforts with our partner Cleveland VOTES, LMM will continue to raise awareness and support the unique challenges unhoused individuals face when voting.
The best way to verify your voter registration status is to contact your local county Board of Elections no later than July 22, where you can then update or confirm your voter registration info.
