LMM to Auction Historic Cleveland Sports Memorabilia during 50th Anniversary at League Park

Cleveland, OH – Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry (LMM) will host a celebration 50 years in the making with food, fun
and fireworks at the historic League Park on Saturday, September 21, 2019. The nonprofit social services and advocacy
agency is looking forward to its next 50 years of innovation, which kicks off at the event. A special sports venue calls for
exceptional sports-related auction items!

A Night at the Ballpark, their 50th Anniversary Celebration, will take place at the landmark location beginning at 6:15
PM. The event will feature gourmet food stations, live jazz music, civic leadership awards, an outstanding silent auction
and a firework finale. As a community convener, LMM will invite everyone in the neighborhood to step outside of their
homes and celebrate with LMM by watching the fireworks, since LMM began in the same neighborhood as League Park.

LMM’s silent auction is comprised of more than 20 items, including a variety of Cleveland sports ticket packages,
autographed Cleveland sports memorabilia and historic Cleveland sports relics. Two League Park treasures from 1910, a
stadium seat and a folding chair used on the field and in press boxes, are being pulled from League Park’s Baseball
Heritage Museum and included in the auction. Autographed Hall of Fame baseballs from MLB legends Bob Feller and
Larry Doby are also included.

Dee and Jimmy Haslam, the event’s honorary chairs, are making sure Cleveland Browns fans have some items to bid
on for a good cause. A package donated by the front office includes two tickets to the Browns vs. Steelers home game
on November 14, pre-game field passes, and parking. You can also bid on a signed Myles Garrett helmet or an
autographed Denzel Ward jersey!

Online bidding is currently open for select items and will close at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 21. Silent auction bids
will then be taken at the event until 8:15 PM. Auction winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event.
Participants need not be present to win a bid.

All proceeds benefit LMM’s programs and services in Health & Wellness, Housing & Shelter, Advocacy and Workforce
Development. To learn more about LMM’s auction items or to place an early bid online, visit LUTHERANMETRO.ORG
