We Did It! Celebrating a Strong Finish for LMM Youth 🎉

The 2025 Cleveland Marathon was more than a race for the LMM community. It was a movement powered by purpose, heart, and a deep commitment to youth in need. We’re thrilled to share that we raised $10,000 in support of Youth Resiliency Services (YRS)!

LMM’s own Benjamin Turney, Program Director of YRS, took on the full marathon in honor of the young people we serve who are experiencing homelessness and housing instability. What began as a fundraising challenge turned into a full community rally. Benjamin’s dedication inspired others across the agency to join in, showing what it means to lead by example.

Motivated by the cause, Communications Manager Connor O’Brien took on the half marathon, using his love of fitness and support of LMM youth to make a difference. Marcella Brown, our VP of Development & Communications, also joined the movement by participating in the Saturday 5K alongside her daughters, turning it into a joyful family run for a greater purpose.

From early morning training runs to late-night fundraising efforts, this campaign was fueled by love, grit, and a shared belief that young people deserve safe and stable support systems. Each dollar raised will go directly toward advancing the critical work of YRS to support youth experiencing housing insecurity. A special thank-you goes to LMM’s Cleveland Marathon sponsors: North Point Portfolio Managers, Grayson Sieg, and Jasmine O’Reilly, whose generous support helped make this effort possible.

To everyone who gave, shared, encouraged, or ran, you were part of this movement. You helped us finish strong, and your impact will be felt far beyond the finish line!

Thank you for running with us, believing in us, and supporting the future of Cleveland’s youth. Let’s keep moving forward together.
