Learn more about New Circle Vistas.
The New Circle Vistas project will be a model of accessible housing. The mobility-disabled residents of New Circle Vistas will enjoy the fully accessible units and common areas, including a large lobby and patio.
As MAHO looks forward to a 2011 construction start, the designs for the state-of-the-art building have continued to progress. In January, 2009, the plans were approved by both the University Circle Design Review Committee and the City of Cleveland Planning Commission. The designs developed by City Architecture were very well received. The next steps in the design process are the details that make this project a model of accessible housing.

Our progress to date would not have been possible without the support of people like you. Initial contributions to the $500,000 Capital Campaign include a $60,000 grant from the Bruening Foundation, $150,000 grant from the Cleveland Foundation and a $45,000 grant from Saint Luke’s Foundation, as well as over $25,000 in donations and pledges from individual donors and corporations.

In a letter of support for New Circle Vistas, Circle Vistas tenant Gregory Stuart wrote, “I’ve been proud to call Circle Vistas my home. By proceeding with this project, not only do you better our lives, but give us all a new beginning.” The generous support of UCI, Case Western Reserve University, Senator Sherrod Brown, Mayor Frank Jackson, and the individuals and foundations who have contributed to the Capital Campaign will help give Gregory and his neighbors their new beginning. |
