$50 can provide a guardian for an adult who is abused and neglected
$75 can provide a car seat for a teen mother, taking parenting classes
$100 can provide lunch for one hundred homeless men
$325 can sponsor a woman productively re-entering society after incarceration
$1,000 can sponsor a person in a 4-month housing placement program
How To Give Stock
If you have appreciated securities and have held them for at least one year, you can give them to LMM and claim a federal tax deduction if you itemize on your personal tax return. The amount of your deduction is based on the average value of the securities as of the date of transfer. We will report the charitable value to you in our thank you letter. Please consult with your tax advisor to review current tax law and confirm your tax benefits.
