Westhaven Youth Shelter offers support services for both boys and girls ages 11-17 in Greater Cleveland. The doors
are open to teens who are homeless, awaiting permanent placement through foster care or working towards reunification with their families.
Westhaven provides a safe, structured environment to help teens learn responsibility and develop life skills. In addition to emergency housing, food, clothing, advocacy, counseling and a 24-hour hotline, the program provides mental health services, school transportation and recreational activities. Westhaven advocates for right relationships among teens, families and the community.
Volunteers provide building and grounds maintenance, school and lunch supplies and gifts for birthdays and holidays.
