The Road to Freedom is a year-long, national bus tour and photographic exhibit of the grassroots “people’s movement” leading to the passage of the
ADA. A project of ADA Watch and the National Coalition for Disability Rights, the bus is traveling throughout the
U.S. to tell the story of the struggle for disability rights and of the need for expanded educational and economic opportunities for children and adults with physical, mental, cognitive, sensory and developmental disabilities.
