Current Initiatives

The Office of Advocacy develops an annual Advocacy Plan each year to set the agenda, which can be found on the Front Advocacy Page.  The plan is developed in collaboration with the LMM staff partners and is approved by the LMM Board of Trustees.  The goal of the plan is to provide a framework for our advocacy work and to ensure that we are addressing the needs of the LMM clients and community at-large.  While we have a plan, the work of advocacy must be relevant and open to new and emerging issues.  The work of advocacy and social justice forces us to be ever-ready to respond to the inequities and barriers to all having an equal chance at health, prosperity, and well-being.
